Abstract: BACKGROUND & AIM:To detect the genomic instability in the 16HBE cells induced by nickel acetate. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Analysing the genomic instability in the 16HBE cells induced by nickel acetate by random amplified polymorophic DNA(RAPD).RESULTS:Compared with the negative control cells, 16HBE cells induced by nickel acetate have special PCR bands, indicating genomic instability. But the bands amplified by forth and seventh primes have no difference. CONCLUSION: Crystalline nickel sulfide could induce genomic instability in the 16HBE cells induced by nickel acetate.
